You wont NEED to get a flip front sight, but you may or may not like it better with the front sight out of the way. It's really personal prefference.

will I be able to see the front sight at all when looking through the scope? |

at lower magnifications it will be plenty visible. I would definitely get a flip up front. PRI specifically.

Get the optic mounted first and shoot your rifle with it. If you decide that you don't like seeing your front sight through the optic, then look into folding front sights. This way, you will not spend money you may not need to and you're optic will be mounted at a good height. It's best not to try and solve a problem that may not happen for you. |
