Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Larue 7.0 Question

I am working on a 9mm SBR build and am wondering if anyone has any experience with the Larue 7.0 free float. I do realize that 7.0 means 7 inches long, but there are slight differences between manufacturers. What I need to know is what legnth barrel I will need to clear the end of the tube by exactly 1 inch. Any help here is much appreciated.

At lest a 9in. barrel. They are the  best when it comes to FF rails.
