Anyone have any opinions on the LULA (Loader/UnLoader Accessory) tool? I'm interested in getting one but I'd like some feedback first.

Thanks in advance.

I've had mine for two months now, works great for loading & unloading.

They're great! I use mine all of the time.

I'm kinda addicted to stripper clips, but I have a LULA as it's the absolutely quickest way to unload a magazine (other than the fabled Bump Fire, heh).  It's a very worthwhile addition to your armory.

Anyone got one I could barrow? I like to try one out before I commit.

Sure, but I'll need to hold on to your AR's upper as collateral.

Lula is cool.  Just went shooting and forgot the Lula and we were miserable loading the mags without the Lula.  Buy one - it works.

Just out of curiousity, how often do you guys unload mags?  Why do you unload mags?  Not a joke, serious question.

I mainly use the LULA to load (not a real stripper clip fan). When I've needed to unload a mag
to check an FTF issue, it comes in real handy.

Glock, I mainly unload mags when they're partially full - like after doing a tactical reload.  Once I get home and reload my magazines, it's easier to unload a partially full one, then load it full with 3 stripper clips.  Once all the mags are full, I put the loose rounds on stripper clips.

Like s0ulzer0, I'll also unload one if there was a feed problem; I'll then dismantle the mag and clean it.

The reason I ask is I usually shoot e'm dry.  I really like my LULA, but I have not found a reason to use it to unload a mag.  I thought that was what the little lever in front of the grip was for. [:D]

But the FTF makes sense.  As to the tac reload, I use the LULA to top them off.  I haven't used strippers since I got the LULA, except to rotate some ammo I already had on strippers.

Where is the best on-line source to buy one?
So far, I have found them at Brownells.

Picked up one at the shot show when the sales guy demonstrated it on a C-Mag.  Had to have one and glad that I do now.  It is soooooooooo much easier to load that C-Mag than without...

I've got two - one in the range bag and one on the bench. Buy one - you won't regret it!

Got my LULA Friday and that thing is a godsend!!!  My wife wanted to know what it was and I showed her.  She has never loaded any of my AR mags and I showed her how to do it and let her have at it.  She loaded two mags before I could get one mag loaded.  I think I may have me a mag loader now!!![:D]

Yup, the LULA is one of the best investments I've ever spent money on regarding weapons accesories.
Loading mags is a cinch and unloading them is a dream! Whenever I go shooting I've always got mine. Where my mags go the LULA goes.

Picked mine up for $19.95 at Cabelas. It grrrreat!![:D]

hehe, when you get yours be sure to look on the packaging. There is a little AR.15.com endorsement.

Just ordered one.  Now I need some good quality mags for a good price.  When is Ammoman going to get some more RO mags?

I bought one, loved it.  Bought another and one for my brother in law.  As soon as my dad and brother get their AR's put together, they'll each get one too.

A plug for Denny at Denny's Guns/Global Tactical:

When I ordered a handguard removal tool & some MagPuls recently, and had a question about the order, I e-mailed Denny on a Saturday afternoon. He telephoned me about 30 minutes later, the problem was resolved instantly, & we had a nice conversation & found we had some mutual friends. He's very knowledgeable & tells it like it is. He's one of the good guys to deal with!!!

You don't need any of those. What a waste of money. It'll probably break in no time. Couldn't work as advertised.

Well, I tried one at a gun show and bought two. Was I ever wrong!

I ordered one yesterday--the last day for free shipping to ARFCOM members. That was enough to do it for me. If it's as good as everyone says, I'm sure I'll like it.

I just used my LULA last weekend. Ended up loading 280 rounds with it at the range. That little thing is a God send! I only wish they made something like that for MP-5 mags. The HK loader/unloader works fine but it's a little less "elegant" than the LULA.

For a speed loader a strip clip is faster. I never did understand what the big deal was with the LULA is, it still loads one round at a time. I could load faster with my hands.

I added mine to an order at the last miniute and i have been very impressed. I have a HKS for my glock mags and this thing seems much sturdier.
