Look at Larues websight under optic/mount combos at Aimpoint's CompML3 w/Larue 150 mount. I'd go with the 2moa.

2moa if you plan on using a magnifier, 4moa for close-in only. If weight's important then look at the Aimpoint Micros (same ruggedness & 50K hrs battery life but in a much smaller/lighter package).

Dude, seriously, this is like your third topic in all caps, turn off the caps lock and slowly step away from the computer...

Aimpoint CompC3 seems to be the best combination of battery life and cost IMHO.

Well if he's like me it's better to study AR's than watch the news after the election.
I mean who in the fuck wants to watch that grinning, purple lipped element move
into America's White House

I just looked at a CompML3 w/4moa and I'm sold. Turned down 2/3 clicks from
off and it's perfect, way better than EOtech's pink, 1moa fuzzball.

I've have a few quality optics. The one I use the most right now, is the ML3 with a Larue mount. I also went for the 2 m.o.a. dot. That smaller dot is fantastic.

Don't By a night vision compatible dot scope M2 or M3 unless you have night vision.  Otherwise you will lose 4 brightness settings that you can't even see the dot when set to NV.  The 2MOA dot will do well out to 300 Meters and I've read articles by military snipers that have used earlier Aimpoint models with 3MOA Dots and have made consistent hits out to 400 yards on man size metallic targets. I own an ML-3  2MOA and am very happy with it.  I Like ARMS Mounts.  Check out the #22 M68 it's awsome for flattop use.  If you have an A1 or A2 go with the ARMS #16A.  I have tried the Aimpoint co-witness forward carry mount with QRP Ring and it doesn't work for me.

I've only used a T-1 but I love it. Once I got it sighted in I was putting all my shots in the bullseye at 50 yards with my LMT and was even hitting torso sized targets at 300. It doesnt weigh anything either.

If you neither dive deeper than 5m nor require NV capability, either a 2 MOA C3 in a LaRue mount or an H-1 in a LaRue mount will do everything you need.  Then it's up to how much weight matters and your pocket book.

Now buy one or the other (or both) and start shooting instead of posting.

I just went through this and purchased a T-1 with GGG mount.  I'd say take a strong look at the H-1.  I played with an M4 and T-1 and liked the T-1 much better.  The H-1 is the same as T-1 minus NV, more durable coating, and able to be submerged underwater longer.

My vote for you would be an H-1.  Check out www.smartgunner.com for a good package price with mount.  If you only want the optic without mount, then check botach @$435.  However, if you use botach make sure you go through the industry forum so you get a real person for customer service.
