Sounds like you don't have a Colt spec extension tube. Extension tubes made by anyone other Colt, LMT or Vltor have a larger diameter. If this is the case you will need t get a new extension tube. I highly recommend the Vltor extension tube.

I like the Vltor because I feel the finish is nicer than the LMT tubes and the Vltor is usually more available. Other than that both the LMT and Vltor are good tubes.
Yojimbo means bodyguard in Japanese... |
