Got two right here

Both made by KAC, one goes on the stock itself, the other behind the carbline buffer end plate, both ambidextrous. Midwest Industries also makes one.

I just purchase a complete LMT LE M4 and put a GGG sinngle point sling mount on it. The fit and fininsh is far superior to any of the others out there. If you buy it you will not be disappointed. LMT makes one that fits around the locking nut. It looks like a quality piece and the actual sling mount is on a swivel, but is too large for my taste. It is about $70 compared to the GGG which is approximately $25.

Why two? Why there? Not bashing, just curious... Do you use them together?

Spooky

I only use the one on the stock itself, I got the other one and later decided I like the stock mounted adapter better for the long sling

Maybe I'm not tracking...but why would you need the sling thing in the fist place?

I'm running a Spectre Gear SOP sling and it uses a piece of webbing to to what the sling thing is doing. I don't see why it wouldn't do the same thing on the LMT stock and save weight?

FedDC, the piece of webbing works as you said, but seems like a field expedient measure. The KAC sling mount allows you to completely detach the sling when you need to. As most of my AR15s have it, I can freely swap slings without having to redo the buckle very quickly, a side benefit.

I got tired of waiting for the KAC equivalents to become available again. So I use the GGG QD sling things for mine.

left = old school M4 buttstock version (fits best)

middle and right = Gen II M4 buttstock version.

Edited cause I posted the wrong picture.

I went with KAC, but didn't know that I would have to shave a little of the standard LMT stock out in order to make it work.

Thanks for all the feedback, I went with the sopmod stock, and did the single point sling. problem solved
