I HAVE A EARLY POST BAN COLT. CAN I NOW PUT A COLLAPSABLE STOCK ON IT AS LONG AS IT DOESNT HAVE A FLASH SUPPRESSOR OR LUG? THANKS

Actually, you can put the stock, a flash suppressor, and a FSB w/ the bayo lug on it now.

Sorry, apparently I'm ignorant about CT gun laws.

Unfortunately with AWB sunset the only thing it does for CT is make high capacity mags cheaper. The collapsable stock, flash suppressor, and bayo lug are forbiden on post ban receivers due to CT state law. Remember that state law overides federal law as long as it is stricter than federal law.

Since CT still has a ban, my understanding is you can only put a flash hider(permanently attached or not) on a rifle built on a pre Sept 13, 1994 receiver.

I apologize in advance if I am mistaken.

Unless it's a pre ban your out of luck. Hopefully after a year we can go after the CT AWB.
