That's the ammo many of us consider the standard by which others are judged. There's nothing to be worried about with either the ammo, the price, or -especially- Ammoman.com.

Q3131A and XM193 are the "good stuff". I think the Q3131A has prettier brass, but for the most part, it's six of one or half a dozen of the other.

Xm193 is a little faster/hotter, with Q3131A being a little more accurate.
Best bet is to pick up a 500 lot of each and see what the rifle prefers. |

XM193 is my gold standard to which I compare all others.

XM193 is excellent ammunition. It averages about 100fps faster that Q3131A, accuracy is equal, but has a greater recoil and report.
This cartidge may be preferred for defensive purposes. Q3131A is also very good. It will feel a bit milder to shoot than XM193. In some threads that were posted, there is a question of long term availability for this ammo. You cannot go wrong with either. |
