Has anyone been able to get in touch with him?  His answering machine is not working and I can't get him through email.

I sent him an email almost a week ago, no reply either.  I guess I'm not alone on this, does anyone know what's up?  Has he gone to a gunshow trip or something?

He went to Daytona bike week for about 4 days.  He is back in the office as of this morning.

Kurt is a great guy to do business with and does first class work at a fair price. Just be a little patient. His work is worth a bit of a wait.

Actually, a lot patient.  Great work; super-slow turnaround.  The curse of popularity, I guess.

Yes, he is SLOW, but as others have noted, he does do great work. I have had two uppers worked on by him and the wait was not short. Also, consider the fact that he is a one-man operation, and AR's are not the only thing he works on. If you want fast turn-around, go elsewhere.......

I know he is slow, I have used him several times, but I couldn't even get his answering machine this weekend so I became worried.

He has two LMT uppers of mine and he said he would ship them two weeks ago and I haven't received them yet, so I was worried they were lost in the mail.  Turns out he forgot to put them in the mail.  I talked to him this morning.

Depending on the project and sense of urgency Kurt can come through on short notice. I had an upper I needed an A2 Tac Brake installed before an upcoming rifle class. I asked if it could be done in time (10 days before flight) and it was back in my hands in plenty of time.

ADCO does great work in great time. Nothing wrong with Kurt, but if speed/quality is what you're after, you might want to try ADCO next time....if they provide the service you're looking for.

I have had several ARs worked on by Kurt, everything from cutting down to 15" and perm mounting an A2 to turning the first  M4-profile dedicated 22RF, 1/16, barrel. Great work. Every time.

I think I may be in the same boat as you scottryan.  He said my uppers would ship on the 15th and when they didn't arrive I became a little worried.  I know some folks that have worked for UPS and I've heard some horror stories.  Anyway, now that I know what's going on everything is cool.

Last I knew, Kurt was a one man band. Visited his shop 3-4 years ago and he had a lot of irons in the fire so to speak. Also he gets a lot of local LEO's that stop by and he stops what he is doing to help the locals first. Great guy and does outstanding work from what I saw but you just have to get in line and be patient.

Don't worry, I have sent him several projects and they have all came out 100% to my satisfaction.
