I have an older "preban" Eagle lower that is a very distinct greenish/gold color that I can't match with an upper for the life of me! The finish is in excellent shape so I really don't want to re-anodize or cover with Lauer/Norrell's.

My question is how easy is it to remove a paint like Krylon from the lower w/o damaging the origianl finish below? And what paint would closely match a new RRA upper?
