Price doesnt seem bad and PSA has some blem uppers for $50 so I could probably finish the upper for under $250.
Will it work well though? If I build a .22 I want it to be as reliable as possible (and fairly accurate of course).
The the Kies kit any good or no?

Never heard of them, But they sound ok from their web site info. They seem to do a lot of hand work to their barrels and uppers

I've talked with him a few times. I tested a couple products.
I was supposed to test one of the rimfire uppers and do a review but it never came to be.
No idea what bcg Kies is using but if it's not a stainless CMMG, I would pass.

Truthfully, you won't do better than the CMMG for a Mil type .22 upper with features and customer service.
