I recently got an RRA lower and put together a pretty nice fun gun. The only thing is, I got the RRA NM trigger and it is really not living up to my expectations. There is some creep in it and I suspect this is because the pin turns in the receiver instead of the trigger turning on the pin. I haven't had a pin walk out yet, but both the hammer and trigger (especially the trigger) pins turn in the receiver. The trigger pin can be inserted without even a single tap from a hammer.

Anyways, that is the situation and I am wondering how much the KNS pins will help. I know that they will eliminate the movement of the pins and I hear that they are more prefectly round so they smooth out the trigger more. Are they worth it?

And because of how lose the holes are should I go with the .1555 pins instead of .154?

The RRA NM 2 stage trigger i got said that you should be using .156 pins with it on the instructions. Did the trigger not come with the bigger pins?

Yeah I see that now on the directions and I used the pins that came with it but they still move around.

I would give them a call. Maybe they gave you .154 pins somehow

Alright, I think I'll do that. I will update tomorrow.

Since the RRA NM trigger is supposed to use .156 pins would the KNS .1555 pins work well if I decided to go that route?

I'm using the KNS .1555 anti walk pins in mine. I have a double star lower though.

Thank you! I think I will give RRA a call tomorrow about the pins and might even ask them about getting a manual since I built my gun. If that doesn't Help then I guess I'll invest in some KNS pins.

KNS pins will stop the rotation from ruining your receiver and smooth out and make the trigger pull consistent.

What did you find out from RRA?  I just ordered KNS .154's from brownells.  I have a RRA receiver with NM trigger group.

Mayo, you need the oversize pins, .155

Is use of  the .156 pins because of the NM trigger, or because of the RRA lower? I have some KNS .154 pins on order for my 9mm RRA build using a standard trigger.

What I get for not asking the expert before ordering.  Oh well.

I was really bussy this week so I didn't get to check on which part was out of spec. I did get to call RRA though and they said that if I sent them the lower with the trigger in it then they would take care of it whether it meant replacing the trigger pins or the receiver itself. That is great that they stand behind their product, but I don't want to be out of comission without my lower so I may just get the .1555 KNS pins and then address the problem after the season if it persists.

I have this combination in one of my AR's, RRA 2 stage trigger and KNS pins work great in my opinion. So for about $100 you can have very nice trigger set up,

Unless you want to add another $50 and that will buy you  complete JP single stage trigger system which is better, but that is just my personal opinion.
