Hello,
One more post from me.  I see some people with rifles that have KAC uppers and lowers and was wondering if it was possible to get stripped uppers and lowers and from where?  Any links would be appreciated.  Also, are they so much better than anybody else as they sort of seem to be (or as people seem to make them)?

I am not a person that I would consider to be in the know but I have never seen a KAC upper or stripped lower sold by itself new.  Sometimes you will see a used one here and there.

Lewis Machine and Tool manufactured the KAC SR-15/16 uppers and lowers, and then were assembled in-house at KAC.

KAC does not currently sell the SR-15 to the commercial market due to other resource commitments to the Military.

KAC never sold anything other than complete SR-15 weapons.

Ahh...thank you for shedding the light onto things for me.

I picket up a used SR15 stripped upper awhile back on the EE.

That's definitely an idea.  Curious as to why people are parting out their KAC rifles though (not that I am complaining).  Thanks!
