thinking about making an SPR. I want to use the Knights low profile gas block on my barrel. Are they hard to mount/attach? I have heard that they clamp on and are easy to mount. Any one got a picture of the underside of one of these blocks? I have seen pictures of them mounted but don't see how they "clamp" on.

thanks

the knights gas block has set screws on the bottom. when i mounted one the gas blcok was tight i had to hone it out to get the right fit. pretty easy to do.

thanks for the reply. Have you ever had a problem with it moving? It seems it would move unless the barrel is machined to accept the set screws.

line up the gas hole with the gas block and mark the bottom of the barrel then drill 2 small dimples for the screws to set in. loctite and your set.
