DAMN DAMN DAMN
Nice set-up.
Is any of that KAC stuff available, or soon to be?
What color are the panels? Olive Drab?
They seem to be the same, or pretty close to the color of the Vltor stock, is that right?

That looks terrific SMGLee!

This would be my first glimpse of the URXII

Most impressive!

Did I read they require factory installation?

and if so, why?

Hi Chen,  Just want to know how the rail attach to the upper receiver?  It doesn't look like it uses a clamp.  Thanks

Those are some great pics Chen & Kevin – keep 'em coming...

Chen: DO you plan to keep your URX with the stock LMT barrel or do you have some more "creative" plans for it down the road?

So KAC has come back with the white laser engraving numbers on the URX2?  Since RAS, RIS and RAS M5 is this the first one to wear numbers again?

Is there a reason they want FULL travel for the front sling swivel?  I take it this Rail isn't FF then?
Link Posted: 9/10/2005 8:53:58 AM EDT
[#46]
I was wondering about the sling swivel too, but the URX2 is FF.

That's what I thought, so why go through the trouble to make sure the sling swivel can stay and keep it's full range of motion?
Link Posted: 9/10/2005 11:44:31 AM EDT
[#49]
They had to make the bottom rail shorter so you can slide it off.  When you take out the side screws, the bottom rail doesn’t just drop down - you have to slide it towards the muzzle and then pull it down.  If the bottom rail was as long as the other three sides, you wouldn’t be able to take it off.  IMHO, the freedom of sling swivel travel was just an unexpected +.

ETA: My lowly addition...

Chen,

How does the KAC compare with the LaRue? Which one do you like better?
