Is any of that KAC stuff available, or soon to be?
What color are the panels? Olive Drab?
They seem to be the same, or pretty close to the color of the Vltor stock, is that right?

The color is a ball park match but not a total match...

The URX is not yet available for public consumption.

I will try to get sometime and post some pics of thje URX and LMT MRP together this weekend.

It does require factory installation or MSTN installation since Wes is the only other person besides KAC that have the special tool.. says something for MSTN... :)

URX acts like a barrel nut, how the unit is secured and indexed is still a trade secret I believe. I was told not to take any detail photos of the inner working of the URX2.

Maybe Cold Blue might want to clarify that.

I know many think I am quite biased to KAC - but I think their RISII (URXII) and M203 FF setup is the slickest.

Pics in relationship to Larue
(I confirmed I lost all my MRP pics - and I sold mine since it was excess to my needs)

I really like Larue rails - but the URXII is all that and more...

I don't plan on making any changes, I was trying to decide between a Diemaco C8A1 barrel or the M4, I finally settled on the M4... URX find a good home on my LMT upper.

More pictures as requested.... Comparison of MRP, LaRue rail and the URX2...and a family of LaRue mounts.

That's what I thought, so why go through the trouble to make sure the sling swivel can stay and keep it's full range of motion?

They had to make the bottom rail shorter so you can slide it off. When you take out the side screws, the bottom rail doesn’t just drop down - you have to slide it towards the muzzle and then pull it down. If the bottom rail was as long as the other three sides, you wouldn’t be able to take it off. IMHO, the freedom of sling swivel travel was just an unexpected +.

ETA: My lowly addition...
