[ARCHIVED THREAD] - KAC RIS or RAS for DelTon uppers?

I sent off an email to Del Ton but figured I would ask here as well. I have no idea what barrel profile is under their handguards and have no idea which KAC unit works with what profile. Anyone have any suggestions? Not needing a FF rail.

I think that if memory serves me right the RAS will work on both std. Gov profile and HBAR's. I think The RIS Is the FF mount with the Hump. That attaches to the upper reciver to give the barrel a semi FF. Personaly did not care for it. Reduces the type of optics and sights you can use.

That Would be the RAS 2, not the RIS.

I do like the RAS alot

its solid as a ROCK

Esay to install ( took a couple of tries )

There are FAKES out there
