Pricey!!

Yeah, they are expensive. How does that price match up with others?

AT $2200 it's not too bad honestly, given how snooty KAC is.

Hammer forged barrels for AR-15s are super spendy.  Noveske's cold hammer forged barrels ring in at $400-500 or so.  You can't buy Noveske barrels stand alone...

Most importantly, the price for this rifle is the same as pre-obama prices for a SR-15.  The components by themselves are expensive, and you're paying a premium for KAC to put it together and guarantee the quality of the assembly.

I've been waiting out for a Noveske N4 low pro. Would you consider this rifle on equal ground or should I keep waiting?

I'd get a KAC over a Noveske if the price was similar. You'll probably never see another person with a KAC, plus they are awesome weapons. Very well built and fully tested.

Just last week I was telling myself.... "If Small arms (they're local) ever gets SR-15's in, i'm going to grab one"...

Ramen noodles for this poor med student now i guess...

I'd get this if you had the money.

The N4 is only a few hundred cheaper.  The KAC is more unique.

Don't foget we have our E3 bolt and barrel extension in this - which will at least double the length of your bolt lugs, add in the Cold Hammer forged barrel, rail, intergal front sight, match trigger, fully ambidextrous bolt release and mag release...

Wow, where can one get pictures of the E3 bolt?  Didn't know about this.

Only 1 in stock... very tempting!

For those who still want one, I'd get on their "email when back in stock" list. That is what I did, and boy was I a happy guy when I checked my email this morning.

KevinB- I have an E3 coming next week. I was curious if the BCG is Auto or Semi and what kind of Buffer does it come with. Also what type of grip would you recommend to replace the A2 ?

Thanks

As creator of this post, I declare that pics of the  E3's bought from SA sales should be posted in this thread.
