I left all mine black so far......You did a good job though

edit:    Ya Know, Spike's should make a totally badass Billet extra extra custom lower, w/ al the bells and whistles.........and call it "The Black Widow"....and paint a little tiny red hour glass on thier logo................Huh???

Now the Mods Can Begin :)

I think that you will enjoy your rifle even more because you took your time, chose quality parts, studied how it is put together and then built it yourself.  I still have the very first rifle i ever built from a stripped lower and it is still the one that comes out of the safe the most.  Happy shooting.

For a Quick Mod I Ordered the Magpul MOE HandGuard, I will Need to start another build soon, and I can be using this one in the mean time. That way the next one can be built slow and be my ultimate AR-15.

Nice job Joe.  My first build is going to look just like it.  I like the looks of the LMT rear site but have never seen one in person.  I am debating if this is the way I should go or opt for a rear buis that folds out of the way for future optics use.  Any thoughts?

Get a Fold Down It will interfere with a magnifier or scope, See Next Post you will see not much room left, But i do like it.

Got My Optics in, Red Dot with 4x magnifier behind it which flips to the side when at close range.
Now I just Need to replace the Standard Hand Guard for something a little more presentable.

KAC M5 RAS!

The M5 RAS is for rifle-length gas systems (e.g., M16 clones). He could go with a regular (M4) RAS, however.

Last Upgrade, I did not like the stock Handguard, so got a Magpul Moe for 30.00, Looks good now,   I have read some people have play in the fit, But mine is very tight no movement at all.

This is the last upgrade for a while.

Now time to go Sight it in and have fun.

I got the Itch bad Now :)
Maybe I will start another build soon, completely from scratch and over a few months, will be a total tactic Rifle, Black and Sand color I was thinking.
