I replace the trigger on my DPMS AR with
a new jewell. I set it at 2lb. Is this
too light to go on an AR? It is a target
rifle set up to hunt praire dogs. My bolt
guns I use are arround 1lb. So I'm use to
a light pull. How will it fuctions.
Thanks
Mike

I'm sell all the parts I replaced in the
parts fore sale

Set up properly, the Jewwll will work well at 2 lbs.  Mine is set up for 1 lb on the first stage (the minimum to get the trigger to return) and 11 oz on the second.  It can't operate much lower or the trigger will not function reliably in semi-auto operation; the hammer won't catch the disconnector and will fall to the safety notch, resulting in a click instead of a bang when the trigger is pulled.

The Jewell unit being a true two stage trigger, is one the most safest diy triggers out there. The light first stage takeup, insures full sear engagement.
Mine is set for 1 lb first stage, and a crisp 12 oz second stage release.

Good Luck,
Stuart
