Has anyone ever used jewelers rouge to polish a suspected rough, chrome lined chamber before?   I have some from when I used to polish opals and I've used it before to polish up feed ramps on pistols.   I would think that putting some on a .40 bore mop and a few quick spins through the chamber with a drill would polish it up nicely.  Anyone have any experience using this material??

Not me.  I used Mothers Mag and Aluminum polish on an oversized (.40cal I think) bore mop to polish my chrome-lined chamber.  Worked like a charm.

Jeweler's Rouge is a great polish for metals, see no reason not to use it, just clean it out well.

Toothpaste also works well.

I've used both to polish actions (bolt guns usually). Gunsmith taught me that years ago.
