The only reason I have not bought from JT is their web sight is hard to navigate and they do not have real time inventory.

J&T and Doublestar are owned by the same people.

And, unless I'm mistaken, the barrels are Wilson air gauged, like the ones that RRA uses on their varmint rifles, which are typically tack drivers.  I've spent a good bit of money on barrels lately, and I think that my next will be one from J&T.

i feel your pain about the website, but they are a very good "kit company", very accurate barrels, the workmanship is always first rate as are the products they sell. the LPK's they sell with the rifle kits are the best kept secret in the AR industry. quality small parts, spiral lock roll pins, VERY good triggers , for a commercial grade weapon they are fantasic

The A2 kit I purchased from J & T was nothing special...maybe I got a bad one. YMMV

call them and let them know what the issues are, they will make it right. what issues made the weapon "nothing special" just curious

I purchased the lightweight tactical kit from them a while back.  Went together great.  No problems.

Extremely canted FSB and a horrible trigger. And the USA mags were absolutely useless.

Have used several of their kits and uppers. Used to use them exclusively. Of course that was 15 years ago, before everybody and their mother carried AR parts.

Always recieved great parts and outstanding service. You are much better off calling them than trying to navigate their website. Best thing to use from their website is to just download their catalog.

the first two items mentioned, J&T can fix. but USA mags are garbage and will not function in any weapon
