Just got my 6.8 kit today! I was opening that box like an 8 year-old at Christmas! Now I just need my lower to come in and Sept. 14 to arrive without molestation from congress!

I've changed my mind a hundred times before committing. I got a 16" CAR with flat top. I've got a RRA lower ordered as well as their tact. handle. Haven't decided on the red dot yet but can use irons until I do. This is going to be my K.I.S.S. zombie zapper. |

Thats nice to have that rifle but what about ammo?????????????? Its going to be a while if and when they make any more ammo for it. I think I will wait until that ammo is on the walmart shelf.

God, don't I know that feeling. I finally settled on a CAR A3 kit in .300 Fireball. Brass is $120/100, loading dies and data is available and it takes standard .308" bullets. Now if I can just make my mind up as to which red dot sight to get. I'd like an EOTech but $350(ouch) is kind of hard to take. I may just get a $80 dollar Tasco for the time being and pick up the EOTech at a later date. Then I can always use the Tasco as a back up.

I'm hoping the Tactical Handle with A2 sights shows up soon. I thought the Bayo was a nice touch and couldn't resist buying it. Won't fit the rifle, but will still strap to my side just fine. Besides, it's so cool! Since I started collecting military rifles, I've aquired a taste of bayonets as well.

Finally got my magazine from PRI. Can't wait 'til I can get some 28 rounders. Still waiting on the tac handle, lower and... 22 more days!
