Have you used Israeli ammo or the Israeli 308 at KY? I need to clarify this because about 6 years ago I had bought IMI 308 and it was crap, and the people I bought it from said it was crap (got it at a discount). About 1 in 10 rounds jammed or misfired. Very unusual for IMI, thewy usually make great ammo.

Need to know if this is the good IMI 308 that was going around.

I have been looking at the IMI .308 HP's loose in a ammo can from KY imports for some time.  I looks like it's a good deal but I haven't got up the nerve to fill out the ammo buyers form and order it yet.  If someone has used it please let us know.  

I have ordered the FMJ "Match" few years ago, it cannot be further from the description. After I receive the ammo, some of the casing have tarnished. However, as I understand military surplus ammo does not usually look bright and shiney like commercial load, so I gave it a try in my Savage 110FP. While I can shoot true match grade load (Federal Gold Medal) and produce nice sub-1" Group at 100yrds, This so call IMI "Match" ammo produce 4-6". I shoot the rest in my M1A. All go bang, but one can forget about getting good group out of it.

i bought a bunch of TZ 308 (isreali) from hopelite about 5 years ago and it works great, even pretty accurate for mil surp.

it came in the brown 20 round boxes and ammo cans.


as for good surplus 308, there seems to be SA battel pack still available and it also works well for me in the FAL and M1a

Ky imports doesnt have any more 308 except that indian crap. I just got off the phone with them the lady on the phone said the guy who does the website hasnt been in 6 monthshock.gif.
