No manufacturer mentioned.  Carbon fiber receiver.  Fits any spec lower.  I'd like a standard FSB, but I can install one I have laying around.

I'm always a member, so i get the member's price.

Worth it or not?

I wouldn't. Polymer or carbon fiber upper receiver compared to an aluminum, and $100 more than the CMMG Sierra with a proven record.

For that price I would get a CMMG.  Also, the mags are $16.99 at Palmetto State Armory...

That appears to be the upper offered by Blackthorne which used to be Hesse and a couple of other names.  The uppers are assembled  in Minnesota and are advertised on Gunbroker.  I had a friend buy one a few years ago when there was a waiting period on about any AR let alone 22 LR.  He had to work on it to make it work and for that much money I'd be more interested in CMMG, Tactical Solutions, Spikes, Model 1 or Nordic which all  use the same mags.

Any of the CMMG upgrades on their webpage recommended?

One more Q:  The mags at Palmetto state compatible with Atchisson/Ciener.  Does that mean they will work with a CMMG or TacSol?

Sorry, I'm a .22lr retard.  I need one to knock down training costs.

I always recommend the stainless bolt up grade. Smoother, less break in, less lube, runs cleaner.
You may also want the bolt hold open actuator,. You will need BHOA mags.
The CMMG and BDM mags will work with any Atchison design.

Save yourself some heartache, and some money, go with the CMMG. Get the extras. The bolt hold open device and the forward assist are just wonderful. Once you try them you will never want to be without them.

Anything less would be a disappointment.

Shadowcop was a big help when I ordered mine also.  Post some pics when you get it rolling.
