In a post about convincing his dad he needed to buy an AR15, CRC elaborated that there might be a ban on AR's in 2004.  This is the first I have heard of this.  Is there anything to it? heavy.gif

what he's talking about is the AW ban expiration. in 2004 the current ban will expire, it cannot be reneiwed, but.. a new law can be made to replace it. if it is a stricter law then i suppose there is a possibility of AR's being banned due to construction features if they chose to do so.
