I just picked up my new AR yesterday, and shot it for the first time today. Anyway, I have a .22lr upper for it, and hopefully will pick up a 9mm upper for it soon. I intend to switch the uppers on a single lower, to save money, and because I love versatility in a single firearm.

So, a single point sling seems to me to be the only real option for me. Is there any other real option? Maybe several buckles that connect under the front sight of each upper, and can be quickly connected to a single sling on the lower?

I don't know, I am not very sling-knowledgeable. Any advice or personal experiences would be appreciated. I saw the thread about the $2.75 single point sling, so I will probably do that, after I buy the sling plate.

Thanks.

GRSC makes some great single point slings and adapter plates. A few of my friends and I use them and they are outstanding! Do a search to check them out.
