I have been searching for some "affordable" ammo for over a week. Nothing is available except Wolf, Silver Bear, Olympic, Santa Barbara, and Ingman.....PMP....all gone. How is this Ingman SS109 ammo?....is it armor peircing?

Ahhh...well lets put this in perspective.  SS109 bullet construction is not AP, but rather for enhanced penetration.  Check out the FAQ at the top of the forum list for all the particulars.  I've ran about 300 rounds of the Ingman and it performs well with my 20" A2.  I wouldn't hesitate to buy more.  Do you really need M855 or SS109 type rounds.  You get M193 alot cheaper than SS109..just something to think about.  For plinkin'I'm always shootin' Wolf or Mil. Surplus.  Save the LC, IMI, Q31 for "special" occasions.  Cheers!!
