I understand that there are different height Front Sight Posts.
I have 2 that are 0.275" tall from the base of the Post, to the top of the Post, Is this the "tall" one?

Anyone please, give me some info.

This might be what you are referring to.  Below on the left is a picture of a "standard" Colt front sight post taken off an A2 upper.  The post on the right is the Bushmaster "front sight post for flat top Colts" and is about .040" taller than the standard Colt post.  

These taller posts are commonly used to accommodate a standard front sight base being used where an "F" front sight base would be more suitable, or any situation where your front sight post is starting to come out of the front sight base and you still need to raise the post more to zero your weapon.

Ummm, I think you meant .040 inches taller.

BTW. Evan though Colt now says that the .040 inch higher  F marked base, is for flat top pieces only, the simple fact is that EVERY CARBINE Colt has ever made came with a higher front sight tip; and that prior to the advent of the F base, Colt put a .040 higher blade onto their carbines.

My 1977 built SP1 carbine came with one. The XM177 SMGS used during Viet Nam came with one, and loads of people (including me) who have built M4geries w/sight units other than Colt, needed one.

The hard nose at Bushmaster with whom I spoke last week refused to believe that my own piece, which has a BUSHIE SIGHT unit on it, still needs the .040 higher front sight point, as does my SP1.

I haven't the foggiest why Colt claims only THEIR flat tops need a higher front sight point.  Surely ther's some one still at the factory who remembers them putting the higher blade onto early carbines

My flattop Bushy's require the taller FSP to zero with the ARMS rear BUIS...
