btw ... hello and it's great to be back ! I see the boards are alive and healthy.
I've asked this before, however, in light of new/improved advancements in products ... what would YOU purchase if building a new AR style rifle, if money was no object ? For example : Barrel Upper Lower etc. What you think is important as I need feedback for a new build ... so don't be shy. Thanks in advance, and shoot well and often

Hello eklikwhoa ... just throw the ideas out there, and I'll look at 'em. However, for added info., I'm going to eventually build 3 or 4 ARs  , like 1 Carbine, 1 Varmint, 1 General 20 " ... but like your sig says, FUNction over form

Might as well go with the DD and get the 40 mm. But yeah...Full auto, SBR and suppressed would be the way to go. Probably a Noveske SBR....

Does "money didn't matter" mean "money is available" or "money is nowhere to be found"? I also told my girlfriends that money didn't matter because I had none.
But if money is available and didn't matter how it's spent, I would forget the AR and just buy a few miniguns... |

I would only need a AR-15 sticker to slap on the Brand New imported HK-93 that I could throw tons of money at getting one import into the states.

Take another look at M4Madness list, these four items will cover any barrel length that he was to run without problems. SRT Hurricane Sound Suppressor (read back pressure even on a 10.5" barrel) MGI Rate/Recoil Reducing Buffer (read not only deals with cycle rate reduction, but allow to slow the shorter barrel spike in regards to mass) MGI Adjustable Gas Tube (read ablility to tune the gas system with the added back pressure of the can) Wolff HD Extractor Spring with D-Fender "O"-Ring (prevents the case from being left in the chamber if the gas system is tuned up too high and the rifle is on the verge of overcycling). |

CMT MP tested bolt. CMT M16 bolt carrier. CMT Charging handle and remaining parts. PRI Gas Buster charging handle latch. Noveske 14.5" Afghan Barrel with dimpling and heat dissipation coating. Larue low profile gas block. Larue 13.2 forend. Pretty much anyone's gas tube dipped in thermal barrier coating. Vortex flash suppressor. Troy back up Irons. Trijicon TA01. Surefire M900. Noveske lower. (Hey, I like the logo  )CMT LPK. Chip McCormick tuned single stage trigger. Magpul MIAD grip. LMT SOPMOD stock. And probably a few things I've temporarily forgotten.  |
