I got a Bushmaster XM15E2S AK Shorty back in 2000. I can`t decide exactly how to NoBan it up (Besides the obvious).

I was thinking off two ideas

1.11.5 inch Heavy Barrel with 5.5 inch F/S and 4-6 position telestock, with an A2 upper receiver.

2. Dissy Upper with same telestock and either a Phantom or Vortex F/S

16" Lightweight or 14.5" M4 with permanently attached Phantom flash supressor.

Uhg who wants an 11.5+5.5? - all the weight and length with no benefits.

I like the 11.5" w/ the 5" flash hider, only if you go w/ a 7.62 caliber...that is my plan with the next upper i get.

Otherwise, if no 7.62x39, then go with 14.5" w/ vortex...i hear vortex has best hider???..who really knows until you do your own test though.
Always stick w/ the Heavy Barrel if in 5.56, its worth the $$$  and looks cooler
