Hey guys, what are your thoughts on a Dissy with a 16 inch HBAR barrel with A-1 upper receiver? I am pondering something different, and looking at the one that CMMG has that is made by DPMS, only with an A-1 upper since I dont have one. I have a 16 inch HBAR with A-2 and an M-4 from Stag Arms, so this would be a different look altogether..........what say ye?

Only mine used an A2 profile barrel so it's light under the barrel.

It will be very nose heavy with an HBAR Dissipator and a Telestock..

I would do the set up you have and have the lightweight govt profile barrel for the weight issue.

You can always use a Magpul or ACE M4 SOCOM stock instead of a CAR stock. They both weigh about 7 oz. more than a standard M4 stock.

I made this one using a Colt 20" gov't profile barrel, chopped to 16.25" +/-. It is very light as compared to alot of other uppers I have or had. I don't have a real good handle on this balance thing that people talk about, but I like the feel of this one. Same upper - two different lowers and different optics. It's not the A1 upper you were looking for, but it does give you a different barrel config to consider.

It feels much better then. I put the upper on a couple of my other lowers to try it out. If you want a telestock go for the VLTOR - it feels so much better.
