and need some help finalizing this decision.

I need to choose between RRA and Model 1..... Either will built on a RRA lower.

I've priced an RRA 16" CAR A4 at $668 the way I want it and a Model 1 16" CAR A3 equipped at $678.

Is there enough of a quality difference that I should choose over the other? Are they essentially equal?

Thank you,
Daniel

Wait, the RRA is cheaper?

Model 1 is fine and dandy, but I'll take RRA first anyday, even with those prices flipped and the difference tripled.

I priced it as follows:
RRA
CAR A4 chrome moly  $400
RRA lower:                 ~$110
Lower kit w/Hogue          $78
CAR Buttstock               $65
stock wrench                  $25
Detach. rear sight          $85
total                             $753

Model 1 Sales
16" Preban CAR A3 upper
w/chrome bolt carrier and NM front sight...  $458
RRA Lower                                                      $110
4 aperture removable rear sight                      $85
total                                                                $653

I forgot to account for a removable rear sight for the RRA A4 upper which adds to the price. Corrected it's $100 more.

Worth it?

Thank you for all the feedback.

For $100, and if you can afford it, go with the RRA IMO.

I'm not sure how this is even a question for you, but if it helps, RRA.
