So I attempted to buy a few lowers from Rguns a week ago and was told after Tuesday that my FFL dealers did not send in his FFL to them funny because I saw him fax it to them.

Anyway I'm looking to buy 5 lowers stripped for each person in my family then one left over for me to build a toy or to hang on to. Not looking to spend a lot of money on these lowers the $65 I was going to give Rguns per lower was just what I wanted but I'm willing to go higher. If Anvil Arms was still around I'd buy from them. So I'm looking for a good quality stripped lower at the high being $100. These lowers are going to be used for combat type AR-15. Thanks for the help

You can get really top notch LAR Grizzly stripped lowers for under $100 each shipped from joeboboutfitters.com when you use the slickguns discount code. Then have the nice teflon finish and clean up easily.

Check Widener's - I just snatched 2 LRB Arms stripped lowers for $176 shipped. With my $25 FFL transfer fee it'll be $100.50 each to get them in my grubby hands.

Try this:

http://www.tacticalinc.com/t15™-forged-precision-machined-ar15-lower-receiver-p-1080.html
Great looking parts, quality machining, with added features such as retained springs and an upper tensioning screw.
I have 6 builds based on these so far, and no complaints.

I got a stripped upper and lower from Precision Firearms in MD. They cost a little more but the fit & finish is perfect. If you e-mail them they might cut you a deal on a bulk order.

Just received an e-mail from Karri's Guns that stripped lowers are back in stock.

www.karrisguns.com

ETA: $69.99 + 9.99 shipping. If my experience is any indication, Karri's will have them to you before PSA processes the order.

They aren't selling stripped lowers for at least 6 weeks... Called this morning. I would love to get a lower from a local company and i've heard the fit is awesome, but not sure I can wait 6 weeks! Maybe i'll buy an extra lower later!

I would not buy them for relatives or for something I planned on as a long term rifle. I do have one that I have shot a little and it's fine, but in general they are unproven and the cost difference is not that significant.

I bought a few to try them out...If they don't, ehhh minor loss

Good evening folks - new to the forum. I just purchased two lowers with consecutive serial numbers 2 weeks ago from a company called USA Tactical in Statesville, North Carolina. They told me they had plenty in stock because they machine them in house. They are however a little pricey at $125.00 each, but the quality appears top notch.

I was trying to get my hands on a couple of RRA's or Armalite's but was told by both companies it could be up to six months before either would have any stripped lowers for sell. Apparently all their lowers are being used for their complete rifle builds.

That's understandable I guess but it didn't help my cause any. But since I was already looking at a six month wait after submitting a form 1 for a SBR, I needed to get my grubby little hands on a serial number ASAP before firing off the paper work to the feds a few days ago. The USA Tacts' fit the bill. And now the wait begains ...

Another vote for PSA lowers. Watch for the blemished ones (can not find a blemish on the 3 I bought) at $69 + $7 shipping each. Good lower for a great price! Two of mine even had consecutive serial numbers. :) They are in stock every week or two but sell out quick...
