Sorry to take up bandwidth but I just hit a point where I hate it.  Couldnt get a good feeling while holding the rifle near the mag well.  Other LEOs here dont have them on so I figure I am not going to miss it.  The weight of two mags was also wearing me out.  Thanks for listening.

Thanks for the offer brother.  I think I'll keep it for when I buy a 20" with a bi-pod where I shouldnt have the same two issues I had with it on my Elite.

People seem to love them or hate them.

WOW!!! I have 1 and love it. It cuts down on reload times when I have to shoot a qual or shhot Master Gunner Comp on our SWAT team. As regards to the weight issue..... push-ups, shoulder presses or any other upper body excercise can help..hehe. Im supprised more people dont use 1.. MTSW.

This has been my experience as well.

I have tried them on several occassions an don't care for them.  I work with quite a few guys that love them.

"Lots of people own Readi-Mags; few have them installed."

More are installed and used than you think.

I've used them for 15+ years & like them as others.  If you need a hand hold get a vert grip vs. using the magwell.

Mine was bought, intalled, never made it to the range even, went in the junk box until me223 said somewhere he wanted one. I shipped that damn thing to Ohio so fast...

This is my very current setup.  The VFG is as far back as I really want it but I have better hits with the magwell.
