So I'm building a long range 20" AR.  My wife supprised me and bought me some parts. She ordered a "standard length" gas tube.  I was under the impression I wanted a rifle length. Is there a difference?

To me a standard would be for a rifle/20inch barrel

from tip to tip, the tube measures about 15 and 1/8 inches. So...if I purchase a rifle length barrel...which is what I'm planing on; will it fit?
