Because I thought it would fit the bill for a lighweight coyote/praire dog General Purpose rifle I could take camping, have fun at the range and still be able to mist varmint kong.

I own several AR-15's because:
1) I can. 2) The first weapon I ever handled, fired, and learned to maintain was an M16A1 and I wanted something just like it. 3) I like the technology. 4) I like the versatility; multiple calibers, barrel lengths, and stock styles. |

1. it pisses my old dad off , he's a hard core garand-m14 fan from his army days.
2. I like'm! 3. chicks dig it when I whip it out! 4. can shoot a lot of ammo for cheap, and my shoulder don't get sore. 5. makes antis or trespassers quiver and quake (maybe angry) either way they leave in a hurry. 6. accurate semi-auto. 7. low recoil so my kids enjoy shooting/hunting with them more. 8. black matches my wardrobe. 9. their heathier, they keep me broke so I don't smoke or drink anymore. 10. they fill the void in my collection like no other rifle can. |

Because at the local gun range, when we carry two or three to shoot, it always guarantees us at least three tables on either side of us will stay clear.

I'm an old single shot, big bore fan and I'm new to the AR (about 6 months now) but after these last few months some things are clear:
1. For pure shooting pleasure nothing beats the AR! 2. 40 rounds per pound means you never have to run out of ammo! 3. Nothing else feels as good in your hands! 4. Nothing makes you feel like spending money like an AR! 5. It might be impossible to have just one! (I'm ordering my second lower this week) What an ingenious mechanism! |
