Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - I need to learn how to install a barrel extension. Any tips?

I know this goes a bit further than the typical AR build, but I need to learn nonetheless.
I assume the gas port is typically drilled after the extension is torqued?

So, anyone have knowledge, a video, book, website etc they want to share?
