Hello! I have a nice forged aluminum pre ban lower. It has a JP trigger. The current upper leaves a lot to be desired, so I was going to put the upper in the safe and start from scratch.

So far, I am inclined to buy a Wilson upper (Urban Tactical) and have Wilson Armor Tuff the whole gun. I am looking for a reliable, accurate gun - emphasis on reliable.

Any other uppers I should look at? I know Wilson has a great rep and warranty/service, hence them as the choice. Just want to make sure there isn't a better option before I drop $900+.

I want a gun that can handle five days at Thunder Ranch once I have it put together.

Suggestions?

A Colt should be more than enough for what you want. Armalite is as well, if they'll sell you an upper by itself.
