the BEST scope for the money period..1.5 is fine for close work..fast and clear..8x for distance..was shooting at 581 yds today out in the boonies..CONSISTENT man size, center of mass hits on large rock using a tree to stabilize the rifle..m855 ammo..just unbelievable!!!!

I own two IOR's one of which is the same.  They are rock solid pieces of glass.  High Quality Optics are always a thing of beauty.

After having a IOR 3X25 naked come apart after less then 1000 rds, 4 trips to the range.  If they can not get something that simple right I wouldn't buy something complicated as a varible.  Just because it is as heavy as a tank does not mean it is as tough as one.  Great glass that's about it.

Reports of IOR failures are few and far between. Occasionally all manufacturers have a lemon.
