IMI SS109 is good, and Lake City XM855 is good...............get both

I got the IMI over the M855PD. A lot of ranges and even more rifle compentitions will not allow the use of m855, ap, or ss109 ammo on there range. M855 does damage the steel targets.
One item on the IMI the glue is rather weak holding the boxes (20 round) toghter. IMI223A = M193 less about 100 FPS. it is not a ss109 type bullet. |

I already have 2K rounds of LC SS109, and I was looking to refurnish my shallow stock of 223  I had a pretty good experience with LC SS109 (modulo about 20 discarded ammo out of 1000). Reading around it seems that the IMI223A is pretty good (and you can find it at a reasonable price), so I was thinking into buy some. - Ice |

I shoot both of those as plinking ammo.
The IMI .223 55gr stuff is accurate and clean to shoot. SAMMI PRESSURE The XM855 62gr not SS109 is hot and is quite a bit louder, but also more dirty. NATO PRESSURE I use both, both are good. |
