Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - ID on a Bushmaster Upper?

       Just got a (new to me) toy. 16" post ban with soon to be attached collapsable stock.

       I know the barrel is Bushmaster but what markings should the upper reciever have?


      Yes, I have used the search function but it was no help.

My Bushmaster uppers have either an "F K" next to the A2 sights, or a keyhole looking thing with three dots in it. Also there should be a "crown" on the FSB.

The only factory Bushmaster rifle I ever owned had the splintered "A", the Anchor Harvey mark, on it.  I've seen them with the keyhole, Cerro Forge mark as well.  I also bought an upper that was supposed to be directly of a factory Bushmaster that had NO markings on the upper receiver anywhere.

     Ok, sounds good. I got the splintered A on mine also. Got the crown on the FSB too.
