Im here in NY where stocks can not be collapsable. I want to put on a CTR and pin it to a certain length. How would you guys go about pinning this stock to never colapse? basically so the only way to collapse it would be to break it.

Unless you want the QD socket on the stock, go with the MOE if you need to pin it for NY.  Save 30-40 $.

Just put two rollpins through the sides of the stock into the buffer tube (square part on bottom).  Fill holes in with epoxy and some flat paint.  Done.

Also be sure you match the buffer tube (mil spec / comm) with the right stock.

Looking at my MOE, if you would prefer to not drill the buffer tube you could always drill and install some sort of pin underneath that "pin" that the lever pushes down. That way the lever simply couldn't be pushed down unless you removed the new pin.

Coming from CA, some mods need to permanent and other don't, so if in NY it doesn't have to be permanent or if this is permanent enough, you could simply tap it and insert a set screw so you could change position for whatever reason under legal circumstances of course such as going out of state or law changes.
