Has anyone used this setup?
Would it work well? I'm not giving my LMT up for the world ;) But i would like an optic for the sake of having one! Thanks in advance for any replies.

I'm using the LMT and EOTech on both my personal and issue weapon. It seems to be working fine so far. The LMT seems to ghost-out when looking through to the target. With that said, I would prefer a little higher mount for the EOTech so as to co-witness a tad lower. Other than that it's G2G.

wonder if any of the Yankee Hill 1/2" risers would work?

Raising it .5" is easily possible, as there are plenty of riser rails and they're all right around .5" The problem is that you wouldn't be able to use the irons. Really, the EOTech needs to be .2" higher than it is, or better, .3 inches lower in profile, so that it can be used with a riser on flattops or mounted on .5" rails (like the ARMS #38 or a SIR) and still cowitness with the irons in the bottom third of the optic. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like either change is likely anytime soon.
