Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - How to use headspace guages????

I've read all kind of info on using them and now I'm more confused than before I started reading. I read something about disassembling the bolt and so on. Can someone break it down for me in simple english.

Get the M-16/M-4 Unit and direct support maintainance field manual.  I think I downloaded from biggerhammer.com.

All kinds of useful info in it.
