Pic test, from CNN.com homepage.

Mike

Okay, appears you can copy the pic "address" from CNN, paste into your thread, surround with [img*]pic_address[/img*], (shown here with an * that needs to be removed) and have their pic show up here without a hosting service.

BTW, instructions for posting pics is under "Board Code" top left of where you typed your thread.

ADDED for poster below:

Damn, still can't get it! Any way, here is the link. It looks like an M4 with a large leupold attached. Bipod included. Is this an improvised SPR? Also looks like some sort of shotgun under his arm on a sling. Armed to the teeth!

Found your problem, KK.

See the end of your address, camp.doha.[red]html[/red]......, this is NOT a picture extension, this "html" is the a article file and the address is for where the picture is, not the pic.

A picture address has an extension like .jpg, .bmp, .gif, .tif etc....., the above ends w/ "security.jpg", (which you can see by following instructions below to "Properties")

Place your mouse over the picture you want, right click on pic and a box will pop up, at the bottom of the box is "Properties". Pick on "properties" and another box will pop up, the true address of the pic will be to the right of the word "address" in this properties box. Highlite this address (pick/drag, turn it all blue) then right-click your mouse and select "Copy", then go back to your thread, right-click in thread and select "Paste", this will drop the correct address into your topic.

Follow instructions above (without the *s) and pic should show, hope I got the one you were looking at above.....

BTW, some site's DO NOT ALLOW this type of posting of their pics, and you'll get a red . In fact when they archive this article, there at CNN, we'll be seeing red "X"s here, which is why and membership here or at a hosting site as noted above is not a bad idea...

Mike

Bet your gonna ask about the long bipod....
