Hi, I have a Oly carbine in the A1 configuration. I've seen various Eotech's mounted on flat tops, but how do I mount to the A1 handle. Specifically I want a mount that will extend forward and then down so I can use the eotech with the front sight post. I believe this is called cowitnessing..

Anyway, sorry if this has been covered a million times. If there are other threads about this please direct me there.

BC Cam forward mount are adjustable and very solid. it will give you a degree of co-witness not offered by other companies. Precision Reflex has two version, the standard that will work with standard handguards and also a hi-ride that will work with the oval M4 handguards.

Will that mount work with a SF M500?

Chen- I know you really like the tan BowFlage, but now blue and red? [;)] I've never heard anything bad about the Bennie Cooley mount, although it sure looks delicate.

The nonadjustable mount Eotech sells is no good? Is the BC CAM mount made of metal or plastic? Are those hex screws on the front of BC CAM to adjust elevation?

The mount is metal; the screws are used to secure the front rail, which is vertically adjustable.

Will the BC mount work with an A3 removable handle? I know the ARMS will not.

I just installed the BC cam mount. Biggest issue is I had to cut out part of my M4 handguards to allow it to sit low enough to co-witness. The heat sheild still fits underneith the top handguard and is still sturdy. Here is the view for co-witnessing:

Nice set up Slumlord, can you still use your A2 iron sights with that config? I was thinking of doing the same setup.

With the adjustable gooseneck mount I was able to make it co-witness. However, I because I have the M4 handguards I had to cut away the top one in order to lower the gooseneck low enough to co-witness the irons.
