IIRC without looking the followers are coated black and the side are stamped 5.56x45mm
The side will laso have some other stamping's on them |

I was thinking the early ones (or was it the late ones?) had chrome followers.
ETA... those look exactly like my Maritime magazines. Yet another ETA... I found a PFD in my storage hard drive that states the black followers are "Maritime" and the chrome followers are standard magazines. |

If you are thinking of $45 or so, I think the price has softened. |

Gotcha. I agree they are overpriced but oh well, so are most things HK IMO.

The reason .mil quit procuring them was weak springs and improper heat treating of the feed lips which resulted in type III malfunctions.
Overweight, overpriced paperweights. |

I remember getting some of the HK mags in Iraq in 03' and they had the bright followers. I think I still have 6 NIW in the footlocker at home. Stop using them due to their weight and had one bend the feed lips.

I have not had good luck with these HK mags. I got rid of all of mine but one a long time ago.

I went to the range the other day with a 300blk, I took three HK Maritime mags, and one old coyote windowed pmag. The pmag fed perfectly, the three HK mags gave me stovepipes.
Edit to add ammo was PNW Supersonic. |

Edit for disclaimer: These have only seen easy range use, I can't vouch for any durability in hard use environment. Personally I wouldn't use them where they had to be counted on. PMag or D&H are my goto social mag. |
