I was just wondering if some people can help decide how much I could sell my AR15 for, and also if it would be worth it to sell it.

http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b233/TacticalNut/Webgun1.jpg

Also, included in this would be 12 steal 30rd mags and the Blackhawk commando chest rig in woodland.
This is an old picture, but everything is the same except I added ARMS flip up rear sight, and I sold that useless laser from Hong Kong.

Let me know how much you guys think I could sell this for.

Thanks.

If it were mine, I'd start at $2100 without the chest rig.  That is assuming it has less than 1000 rounds fired through it and is in good contidion.

I would be more likely to split up the major components and sell them separately.  It's easier to find someone looking for the Surefire VFG or Aimpoint or stock rifle than someone with a couple thousand bucks laying around who wants exactly what you're offering.  If you're planning to put it in the EE, you might give it a week as is and then offer to separate the components.

ETA:  If you search through the EE, you will find examples of what the items you have are selling for if you decide to split it up.

Good Luck

That's a hell of a tough call. It's a good looker and has a thing or two I'd really go for, but the more shit you have on a rifle, the more you expect for it. However, the more you load it  the more it strays from someone's tastes (usually) and people are less inclined to want to kick in extra $$$ on things they don't want, or would prefer the competitor's gizmo. Really, you have 3 choices:

1. Part items out, allowing for the buyer to add what he wants (then you WTS/WTT the rest)
2. Price the rifle as configured to sell, meaning take a loss that makes the weapon tempting enough for the buyer to overlook the Aimpoint when he wants a EOTech or the SIR when he wants a LMT.
3. Price the weapon for fair market value and hope someone comes along who has the $$$ and shares your tastes

3. will yield the highest return, yet might take an extremely long time to unload

2. will get rhe money in your hand with the least hassle on your part, but it will cost you for the convenience of quick cash

1. Will yield you a fairly quick turnaround and you'll probably sell most of the stuff quickly if your proces are fair. The tradeoff is that you have the hassle of parting stuff out, dealing with a few people, and possibly having stuff left over that you can't seem to unload.

good luck

Oh man, I’m glad I was there to take part in that! That was ARFCOM history in the making!

But seriously, SkingSEAL, just add up what it cost you to build that rifle, subtract about 10% and try from there.

Why do you want to sell it?  How many rounds through it roughly?

List everything you have for it mags, optics, lights, etc.

Rifle: Bushmaster factory or lower & upper purchased seperately? $900 roughly?
ARMS SIR what model# $399 roughly?
AimPoint model? $350 roughly
ARMS Mount #22M68 w/spacer $130 roughly
ARMS BUIS what model? $100 roughly
Surfire model? $500 roughly
12 mags $15 each roughly
Any extras? Bags/case? $?
Anything you plan to throw in with the sale?

Do you have the original handguards and everything for the rifle and plan to throw those is as well or did you purchase the upper with the SIR already installed?

So just based on what I can see you have approx. $2600 invested minus any bags/cases/rigs and extras.

If I wanted to purchase this from you I would probably start my bid at about $1800-$2000.

The more details you provide the better estimate the fellas and ladies here can give you.

dude this forum isnt for you. If your gonna be a whiny little bitch go somewhere else. You are on post 17 so it seems to me you come here to sell your shit and thats it. It seems a bit dubious to me. If you cant take a joke and just whine you should go somewhere else. If you bothered to read the rules you would know that this is a place for adults, so sell your bb gun somewhere else. Make sure your mommy lets you sell it first though. Just learn to have fun but definately go to the proctologist and get the dildo removed from your anus, i got you some vagisil that ill send you to take care of that rash in your vagina.

While the first reply to your post was kind of a joke....  the second post, by Teknic Dealer was RIGHT ON TARGET...   how do you expect anyone to give you anything that comes close to a decent appraisal if you don't list the base mfg, specs of bbl, etc, and a detailed list of equipment.

It's one thing to turn to the forum for advice, and another to not at least meet us halfway with your efforts (ie - the list).  You waited all of 4 minutes to cop an attitude.  As for "inside jokes", while your post count is low, you joined June 05....  read a little bit.

Either adjust your attitude, or start another nickname and pretend you're not you.

"Noobie embraced by the community" = shows that they've read a bit, thanks people for their input when asking questions, etc.

"Noobie who's posts go ignored" = see above re:attitude

Nope, I am not a SEAL. Also, I don't think there is such a thing as SEAL Team issue, I think its all personal preference.

As for all the people who had useful input, thanks. For those who for some reason think I can't take a joke or that I am in the wrong forum or I am a "noob" that's fine I really could care less. I was just looking for some adive as to my gun.

We don't have a problem with you're being new....  lot's of people here are, I was one too and, on some topics, still am.  Just trying to help you find your way to real answers.  The flak you got wasn't so much about being new, it was regarding your attitude.

I still don't think that I've seen a comprehensive list of the equipment included.

Lesson over, I'm done
