Out of curiosity I am compelled to ask.

Myself, I 800, just to see if it would hold up to it.

Just kept plenty of lube on the rifle and it kept going fine.

In my case, the myth of dirty AR's not running was plain false.

What about you?

I have never gone over 250 with my own and never had a problem.  I was on a firepower demonstration in the Army, in the 1970's, for the anti-military guy Les Aspin.  Funny, a few years later he was someone's Sec of Defense or Chairman of the Armed Svc's Committee??  Well anyway we all had 27 thirty round magazines each, 810 rounds, on the fire and manuever exercise and I didn't see anyone have a problem.

Me and a buddy  got to about 2k with some brown bear ammo before the chamber was to dirty to extract the spent cartridges.

In one P.O.S.T rifle instructor class I consistently went 1k plus rounds for five days, clean after class every day but well over 1k rounds a day.  No extra lubing while shooting during those days and no stoppage or malfunctions of any kind.   Very hot and dusty during that week as well.  10 officers with me no malfunctions same use and cleaning with me that week. All were Colts. Ammo was AE XM193.

I've run 1,200ea M193 rds through my RRA middy without a hiccup.  When I finely got to cleaning it was filthy!

6000, I only lubed it three times during that whole time as well.

I'm probably at about 1000 or so each for my colts. I haven't cleaned anything but my S&W blued revolvers in a coon's age.

Over 2.5k of My reloads as a test for My M4gery...a couple drops of oil on the rings a couple of times. A little "stiff" & real gunky, but never missed a beat!

850 rounds, brand new Colt M4, no lube at all, cartridge stuck in chamber after a long day shooting and a few mag dumps.

I didn't keep a good count, but I cleaned my Bushmaster just twice - once after about 200 rounds, once right before I sold it. Somewhere between 1500 and 2000 rounds. I was sick of the "AR's are finicky and have to be cleaned daily" crowd so decided to see if they were right. Occasionally I shot some Remington oil at it from across the room, but that's about it. Never had a problem (unless I used Wolf, but that didn't work from day 1), and as far as the buyer and I can tell it did no damage.

Current M4gery is still under 1000 rounds and shooting better all the time.

15K, no issues.  Lube every 600-1200 rounds.
