How many of you are stockpiling lower receivers? In anticipation of a tougher awb in the future I've started buying them whenever I get the chance. I only just built my first ar15 earlier this year, and now I have it and 4 stripped lowers.
Tougher AWB in the future? What makes you think they will let you have any AW at all? They will make you turn them all in!
If the JBT's come to round up my guns they better bring some body bags. I'll probably go out in one (still wearing my tinfoil hat), but they'll need a few theirselves. I know that sounds like BS internet talk, but I have no children, no responsibilities other than to myself. If things got this bad I WOULD fight back. |
Where in LA are you? :-D It's good to have friends who are so willing to stand up for what's right, regardless of what the popular opinion is. |

Right now I'm in Washington Parish, probably moving to St Tammany Parish soon.
One Rock River. I consider it a spare part at this point. Was looking into getting an Ameetec spare, but since I can't find a dealer to do a transfer at a reasonable cost....
Let me check................
[mongo stands up and looks at chair].............. None. But I have six in my safe. |
3 stags... 1 to build now, 2 to build later. depending on how the builds go and political events in the next few months, it is very possible for me to pick up a few more.
All you guys, with the exception of Mongo, have issues. Lowers are not made for sitting, they are for building and shooting with, silly
However, I do have 2 new ones stashed somewhere safe and will get two more soon |
Heheh....while I may not go down in a blaze of tracer glory, riddled to pieces, and have my pictures posted on ogrish.com or rotten.com, I myself only have 2 lowers for my post9-13 builds.
2 Stag Arm lowers.....which I plan to build into M4gery's. |
I hope my lower doesn't ever do any receiving......
Currently getting another order together and I should end up with one or two....cause I am the one with mtpockets. MT |
I've got 4:
RRA Mega LMT/LCW Ameetec All waiting on collapasable stocks. |
Sampling the field, I see. |
Right now, 1. And its already a post ban rifle. I'll be getting one more for after the 13th, but after that, probably not. Mostly because my dream gun is an mp5, so I will be buying an HK-94 clone fairly soon. If that group buy will ever come through. Of corse all of this is depending on one thing. Who becomes president. If its skery, I would probably end up getting a couple more AR lowers, and a 94 reciever. all for assembaly at later dates.
Gee I only have 4 eagles. I need more, that's all there is to that.

Wow I feel like a beginner.....
I just put together my last Stinger I have two DPMS 1 Rock River and I am planning to get a couple DSAs from Denny's |
Hmm
4RRA (sequencial sernos's) 1 Preban DPMS (it needs a trigger assembly and a new collapsable stock) 2 Bushy 1 Oly 2 Eagle Arms and a couple others. And yet only 2 are mine. . . . . . I need more $$$$$ Anyone care to donate to the PCSEBRF? (Poor College Student Evil Black Rifle Fund) |
This is kind of like collecting baseball cards or something. Maybe I should get a Mega and Stag Arms to round things out
I'd like a little bit of that action (not the donate part, but the recipient part).
That's the truth of it. I got a bunch of lowers to build, but most of 'em is just for collectin' 'n stuff. |
One Tromix. Financial problems forced me to sell all the spare lowers that I had.
Yeah, but how many can take a collapsible stock? |
about 8, but they call all be milled and drilled for full-auto |
Right now, I'm sitting on 1 Rock River. Come this fall I should have enough to build it into my first AR.
Two Eagle Arms. I have enough parts to build one as a preban and will strip a EA receivered carbine and build on the other. I'll then sit on the EA receiver to build maybe an A2 style when I get some cash ahead. Of course this is if the ban goes away (please make it go away!!!).
I tried, but it did not work.
I tried getting lowers, but as soon as I would get a lower, I would make it a complete rifle. so I am up to 6 complete AR-15's. 3 are getting collapsable stocks in 2 weeks, one is not assembled yet because it will be my M4 and my M4 barrel has the bayo lug and FS, and so I can't put it together yet. I got a stripped lower last week and it lasted a whole 2 days in my safe as a stripped lower. now it has been completed and has an A2 ultralight upper on it. I just can't win. I am so looking forward to the official post pics of your No-Ban rifles thread. |
2 Bushys complete, with 6 stripped AA receivers.
Except I don't sit on them. Ouch. |
Ar15? What the hell is that? I don't know what you're talking about...but better check the neighbor, officer...he looks a little suspicious...
Won't make much difference. Unless you have full rifle kits, they probably won't be grandfathered in a new ban
i'll have ample "proof" they were complete rifles should another ban go through. or we'll be voting from the rooftops...
I've read that the government can't legally do this (not that they can't change the law), can someone verify or clarify that? If this was to happen though I see a saltwater fishing trip in the future, aboard my ageing boat. |
If that were to happen, I see a large portion of the gun community not abiding by this. Sort of like driving 55. Anyway, not gonna happen. |
